With a little glitter dust your child becomes elf-sized, discovers a whole village of lanterns and cinnamon – and finds the missing gear. As a thank-you there is cocoa, star cookies and a golden bell. Perfect for every family that welcomes an elf in Advent.

Look inside

This is what the book looks like – in your book, your child is the hero, with their name in the text.

On the first day of Advent, Paul discovered something strange: overnight, a tiny red door had appeared at the bottom of the hallway wall. It had a golden knob and a letterbox no bigger than a matchbox.

"The wish machine in our workshop has broken down," Flocke explained. "Without it, we can't read any wish lists. And only a human child with a big heart can fix it."

Behind the door lay a whole elf village! Lanterns glowed everywhere, it smelled of cinnamon, and a hundred little elves were rushing back and forth with presents.

With Flocke's help, Paul climbed a ladder and put the gear back in its place. Click! The little wheels began to turn.

As a reward, there was hot cocoa and star cookies. The elves told stories about the North Pole, and Paul laughed until it hurt.

Frequently asked questions

What gets personalized?

Your child is the hero on every double page – drawn from your photo. The name is on the cover, on the first page and throughout the story.

Which photo works best?

A bright photo where the face is clearly visible, ideally with just your child. Full body is nice but not required. If you don't like the character, simply use another photo.

What happens to the photo?

We only use it to draw the character and delete it right afterwards. Only the drawn character is used for the pages. Books that aren't ordered are deleted after 7 days.

Can I change single pages?

Yes. You flip through the finished book before ordering and can regenerate any picture as often as you like.

How long until the book arrives?

Every book is printed individually and then shipped. Current production and delivery times are on our shipping page.
