Emma and the Christmas Star

What is it about?

On Christmas Eve, the brightest star in the sky wobbles – and falls right into your garden. Without it, no one will find the way to the children. Your child sets off: with a fox through the dark winter forest, across a frozen stream, past a wise owl and up the highest mountain.

There a reindeer is waiting, and together they fly up until the star shines in its place again. A heartwarming story about courage and a big heart – for reading aloud from age 3.

Look inside

This is what the book looks like – in your book, your child is the hero, with their name in the text.

It was Christmas Eve. The tree was sparkling, the cookies smelled wonderful, and Emma hung up the very last bauble. Outside in the sky, one star shone brighter than all the others.

In the snow lay a little star. Its light was only flickering faintly. "I am the Christmas Star," it whispered. "Without me, no one will find the way to the children tonight."

At the frozen stream, the bridge was as slippery as glass. Emma spread both arms and balanced across, step by step. "You made it!" cheered the fox.

Right at the top, they heard a little bell. A reindeer came floating down from the sky. "We've been looking everywhere for the Christmas Star!" it called. "Climb on!"

In the distance, Emma saw a sleigh following the golden light. Now every present would find its way. "Thank you," twinkled the star. "I couldn't have done it without you."

Frequently asked questions

What gets personalized?

Your child is the hero on every double page – drawn from your photo. The name is on the cover, on the first page and throughout the story.

Which photo works best?

A bright photo where the face is clearly visible, ideally with just your child. Full body is nice but not required. If you don't like the character, simply use another photo.

What happens to the photo?

We only use it to draw the character and delete it right afterwards. Only the drawn character is used for the pages. Books that aren't ordered are deleted after 7 days.

Can I change single pages?

Yes. You flip through the finished book before ordering and can regenerate any picture as often as you like.

How long until the book arrives?
