Look inside

This is what the book looks like – in your book, your child is the hero, with their name in the text.

Tomorrow was the big day: Ben’s first day of school. The new backpack stood packed on the chair. But Ben just couldn't fall asleep.

In the morning there was cocoa, pancakes and a huge school cone, as colorful as a rainbow. Ruki winked from the chair. Now it was time to go.

At the school gate, a child stood all alone behind a tree. Ben simply walked over. "Hi! I'm Ben. Shall we go in together?" The child nodded – and smiled for the first time.

Then something magical happened: the letters on the board came to life and floated through the room. "Every letter is a key," said the teacher. "Soon you'll be able to open every book in the world with them."

Afterwards, every child got to paint a picture. Ben painted the school, the new friend – and of course Ruki, with the widest smile a backpack ever had.

Frequently asked questions

What gets personalized?

Your child is the hero on every double page – drawn from your photo. The name is on the cover, on the first page and throughout the story.

Which photo works best?

A bright photo where the face is clearly visible, ideally with just your child. Full body is nice but not required. If you don't like the character, simply use another photo.

What happens to the photo?

We only use it to draw the character and delete it right afterwards. Only the drawn character is used for the pages. Books that aren't ordered are deleted after 7 days.

Can I change single pages?

Yes. You flip through the finished book before ordering and can regenerate any picture as often as you like.

How long until the book arrives?

Every book is printed individually and then shipped. Current production and delivery times are on our shipping page.

Can I send the book as a gift?

Yes. Just enter the recipient's address when ordering. No invoice is included; you get it by email.

What does shipping cost for several books?

You pay shipping only once per order, no matter how many books it contains.
